Fingerprint Access Control for Businesses

Access control replaces mechanical keys with verifiable identity. The three common methods are fingerprint, RFID card, and PIN, and they can be combined for higher security zones. Enrollment determines daily success. Register each user with two fingers, keep the sensor clean, and set an admin account so user data can be managed without resetting the device. Cards suit visitors and shift workers because they are cheap and easy to revoke when lost. Fingerprints suit permanent staff because credentials cannot be lent or duplicated. For server rooms or cash rooms, require two factors, for example card plus fingerprint. Connect the controller to a backup power supply so doors keep working during outages. Review access logs weekly. Deactivate resigned employees immediately and audit who holds access to critical rooms every quarter.
